Homeward Bound - “The Roadmap Home”
One of our Beer Club Member's found a pup wandering the streets on New Year's Eve - figuring he had escaped during the fireworks, Shawn took him in while he searched for the owner.
While he searched for his owner or a more permanent solution, Shawn started bringing the dog into the brewery for a few beers. The dog immediately took to the Roadmap life and became a staple sitting at the end of the bar.
After three weeks as "a regular" - a women walked in asking the bar staff if she could put up some "lost dog posters" for her Husky Keegan... The place erupted in excitement, "WE KNOW THAT DOG!!!" The staff immediately called Shawn, and 24 hours later, after three long weeks searching for each other - Zoe and Keegan were reunited!
Beer That Gives Back
Through the sales of Cup of Mo, we were able to raise $829.50 for the Saving Huey Foundation! This non-profit organization is committed to increasing public awareness of animal abuse, teaching children compassion for animals, and developing awareness of the potential of all animals, despite any type of disease or medical condition.
